Adult Access

My Health Connection’s (MHC) adult access allows a person designated by you to log into their account to access your health information. This service can also be used by legal guardians or caregivers with Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare of dependent adults to access portions of your medical record.

Child Access

My Health Connection’s (MHC) child access can be used by parents or legal guardians with Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare of dependent children to access portions of the child's medical record. Access is unrestricted for patients under the age of 14. Patients aged 14 to 18 may have the legal right to consent to certain types of medical treatment themselves, without the necessity of parental or guardian consent. While parents and legal guardians will always have the right to request copies of complete medical records for their children as permitted by law, University of Colorado Health respects the rights of these young patients to confidentiality regarding their medical care.
